Post Inner View - Jungle Drums pt2
Hi all,

Thought I'd upload a short vid reviewing a preset I've just created. It goes through each channel showing you what effects are used and shows the send routing... I forgot to add the KPI view for each kit piece to show ambient send levels and damping, but give me a shout if you have all the packs for highlighted kit pieces and wish to have the preset. Short audio demo at the end.

I should really buy a USB mic and talk Razz

Enjoy!!

Ash Very Happy

Note: Called it part 2 'cause I uploaded a jungle drum "preset" (part 1) in the preset thread a while back. There's no part 1 movie Embarassed

Really cool, a lovely tight sound you've got there, with some great advanced use of the mixer/fx.

Why thank you kind Sir Very Happy

All the snare's rock when pushed through a comp, but they unfortunately clip. I've just posted an [FR] in hopes Andy can code his "peak clip" button from Glue on the comps in BFD2 Wink

P.s. I recall someone posted about tamb. grooves a while back? Whomever you are, yes, you can create realistic parts. A trick is to create a send, pan it opposite to the original and place a delay effect on it. Set it to a pleasing rythmical value and EQ to taste. I tend to roll off the high end to emphasize the low end attack of higher velocities, as if one is striking with the palm.

Very Happy

Good god!!
Really good Ashley,
some day I hope to get that good.
Do you not even use any of your sequencers effects, busses and stuff?
I found my CPU usage seemed higher when I was trying to do it all in BFD.

Cheers for the praise Very Happy

I've lots of plug-ins in my DAW and use them all the time, I just like getting the most out of what I have to hand and enjoy experimenting.
