FXP we can possibly do, I think I figured out a way (although there are some caveats). FXB, sorry, won't happen.

OK, here we go...

NB: This is for WINDOWS only (who uses Cubase on a Mac now anyway?)
NB: Use at your own risk. This is an alpha version and hasn't had any QA.
NB: Doesn't work for Fusor. Yet.

Should work on XP, Vista, Win7. Will convert Strobe, Amber and Cypher patches to Cubase FXP format.

Instructions:
* Unzip the attached file
* Copy your Strobe (or Amber etc.) presets TO THE FOLDER THE TOOLS ARE IN
* Then drag the copied presets on to MAKEFXP.BAT (you can drag them all in one go)
* The util will run and make FXP files for all the dragged presets

Let me know how you get on!

Sorry to get back so late.

It works if you drag or copy+paste preset files on the makefxp.bat file. I'm on Win7 x64

The patches that you drag or copy on to the makefxp.bat file will create fxp files and place them in the same folder locations as the originals they were copied from.

The resulting fxp files work in Cubase

Unfortunately, Kore2 does not load fxp files directly. It can only import from a loaded vsti if that vsti supports fxp internally. Crying or Very sad Now I have to complain to NI.

Thanks again for doing this.

I've not tried it but this utility came to my attention - it creates an FXB file out of a folder of FXP files (Windows only). Some of you may find it useful.
