 insanely good
Hey guys, in the middle of working right now. I realized I had like 10+ synthsquad plugins loaded in this project, and had to take a second out to tell you it's the best softsynth I've ever used. Spectacular.

Excellent to hear
At first, I was all like "omg... Cypherzz teh awesumzz" .. but then I realised it's really all about using the unison modulation source in Strobe to get super heavy phat sounds..
er.. yeah...

Hi tumult,
I totally agree with you about this, the synths are simply amazing, I'm also going to start a project by using the synthsquad for over 70% of my whole song.

Definitely no argument here... I was in love with SynthSquad as soon as I put my hands on it.
If anything, I was re-working an old song (about 20 or so years old to be exact) a while back and when I listened to it today, I couldn't believe how thin the soft synth was I using previous sounded. I popped in Strobe and all of a sudden I got that Taurus pedal like bass sound that just took me right back. And with Amber for a backing string pad on the same song, my ears just went wild with it.

These do sound great. For me, the magic happens at 96k 4x oversampling or 8x at 44k. That is when all the digital sound and artifacts disappear. Think the 32x is overkill though.
BTW would be nice to have a voice and unison limit for preference. Playing a Cypher patch with anything over 8 voices pegs my i7. With Amber it's anything over 2 voices.

@So-Called - at 8x oversampling, I'm not surprised

Hmmm. Talking about oversampling, has Ableton Live's freeze only working at 1x oversampling mode been fixed in the upcoming update?

Will need to check. Oversampling for freeze only works where the host correctly reports that it's doing a freeze rather than a realtime bounce.

Actually, it's only Cypher that seems to sound much better at 8x. The others only need 4x for the magic. Still would like to set hard voice limits. Especially for Amber
