Crashes when changing drum kit pieces

Post Crashes when changing drum kit pieces 
My BFD1 makes my cubase essential5 program crash whenever I try to change a kit piece. I have my BFD1 application on my main HD while using second HD for the sounds. Should I unistall my BFD and reinstall all of it on the second HD? Does anyone have any suggestions that might help,...................thanks in advance, dave

Changing locations probably won't help. Are you running the final BFD1 update (1.5.50.1)?
