doing it pad by pad is very time consuming

using the demo i just want to know what im buying into or what might be coming in the near future so as to make an informed decision over which program I decide to use

Cool.

It should be simple enough to assign a midi cc with the learn function to each pad so one can adjust gain, etc at the same time using a controller knob on a keyboard, DAW control surface or something else. Check out details in the manual downloadable from the products page.
