Using new Roland TD-4 with BFD for the first time. Most everything works well, except I am getting frequent hits that do not trigger BFD (but are registering on the TD-4).

I hit my snare 4 times in a row and the 4th time did not trigger BFD. Here's what the MIDI log shows:

So, you can see that the last hit does not have a note on, just a note off. Again, it IS playing the sound in the TD-4 correctly. How do I remedy this?

Well, it seems that switching the MIDI cable may have solved this. I'll have to bang on it some more to be sure but so far so good.
