The MPC60 is arguably one of the best 'hardware' drum machines ever made. Whether by design or accident it's 12-bit sampling engine makes drums sound punchy and warm! What if the TR's got together with the MPC60! That's right... 808, 909, 606, 626, 33, 66, 77, 707, 727, 505 ... all sampled into the MPC60 . Welcome to the MPC60 Vol 1 (TR) for Guru. 18 kits, 18 bundles and 541 x 24-bit samples created on a much loved MPC60-II.
MPC60 Vol 2 (Vinyl) for GURU is the second of the MPC60 series of products and this time the 60 goes vinyl... Goldbaby got his fingers dusty and now his stylus needs replacing! The MPC60 loves vinyl! 466 samples, 10 Bundles, 10 Kits, 83 Patterns.
The Tape808 for GURU contains 407 samples taken from two 808's recorded into an Ampex 351 1/2" valve 2 track tape machine! That's not all... The 808's were also put through other vintage gear and recorded naked into a Metric Halo ULN-2 firewire audio card. Then the best samples were chosen... All 24 bit, and all phat analog goodness!
The Tape909 for GURU includes 1446 samples taken from a mint 909 recorded into an Ampex 351 1/2" valve 2 track tape machine! That's not all... We also put the 909 through other vintage gear. Plus we recorded it naked into a Metric Halo ULN-2 firewire audio card. Then we chose the best samples.
All 24 bit, and all solid 909 goodness! If you can't get a hold of a real 909 then this is as close as you can get in samples... Maybe even better than the having the real thing! Check it out here!
