Hello all

Is there a way to create random patterns in Tremor?

Re: reduce number of pads

Thanks,

I want to use the transient detection mode - and only distribute (velocity mapped) to 16 pads.
This is not possible, unfortunately, and Geist2 turns out to be unusable for me. Tough luck.

reduce number of pads

Hey

I want to reduce the number of pads from 64 to 16. Isn't this possible?

I like to load long samples to create many velocity layers on one pad, but this is difficult when there are so many pads that the slices can spread on to.

Hurrah! Thanks!

Another idea could be that I only need to start the sample recording - and when it ends it automatically saves on a deafult path AND is distributed onto the pads. So, only one button to press, and then you're off, playing...

...something like that anyway...

Yes! Please make a setting for a default path.
Using Geist as a live sampler is almost possible, but with the extra steps to save the recorded sample every time, it's just not fast enough...

Velocity split

When I let Geist slice up a sample, it seems it doesn't velocity split samples on the same layers. So, 4 samples play at the same time one pad. I can split the samples to different velocity zones manually or using the 'auto' button. Is there a setting to allow Geist to velocity split automatically w...

slicing long samples

Hello there I can see that other users in the forum have talked about this, but I really want to make absolutely sure that I am not doing this the wrong way: I always want to slice long samples. However, Geist only detects slices in the beginning of the audio file. Take a look at the screenshot. The...

how to audition layers

Hey there

As far as I can see, it is still not possible to audition a single velocity split layer in an easy way. Is this something you are planning to fix?

Controlling engine effect - dry/wet

Hello Is there any way to control an engine effect - like dry/wet in other programs? When you have an effect applied to an engine, it is useful to be able to control not only the specific parameters of the effect but also the overall volume of the effect - just like dry/wet (or aux effects on a spec...

hold, note repeat & erase + stopping one pad

Hello I am trying to figure out how to use 'hold', 'note repeat' and 'note erase'. How do I use 'hold' and 'note erase'? I cannot figure it out. What can they be used for? (It is so strange that fxpansion doesn't give us proper documentation) Also, I often use long samples for each pad. Is it possib...
