Strobe's oscillator panel has a dedicated Lfo mod depth (vibrato) knob… http://s27.postimg.org/mzmte8ycf/Strobe_Lfo_Mod_of_Pitch.jpg so all you have to do is: 1. Shift-drag the Lfo mod depth knob upwards to a suitable small value, like 0.3. 2. Adjust the Lfo speed, shape, and other settings to creat...

Bug? Polarity of Alt1+ and Alt2+ [confirmed 0012060]

In all of the DCAM:SS synths, the two unipolar mod sources Alt1+ and Alt2+ vary between 0 and –1, rather than 0 and 1.

More synths offering the +/-24 range (or more) include Alchemy, Absynth, Massive, and the current u-he synths.

Sorry for the trouble... For whatever reason, I'm not seeing the beta forum link. I've logged out, cleared my browser cache, and logged back in. I've tried Safari and Firefox. The Forum TOC looks like this: FXpansion Product Support - DCAM: Synth Squad - BFD2 - BFD Expansion Packs & Convertors -...

Trivial Fusor bug (and bug-report question)

First the little bug: In the Fusor chorus (not the one based on Amber), the Freq knob has its upper extreme labelled "5kHz," but the actual parameter range seems to be 0-5 Hz. (I told you this was trivial!) Then the question: What's the most useful way for fxpansion to receive bug reports?...

Simple (but limited) way: In Amber/Cypher/Strobe, use Lfo VIA Perf1 or Perf2 and automate via CC data assigned to P1/P2. More flexible: Use Lfo VIA a Fusor Macro and automate the Macro level. Of course in cases where an LFO is hardwired to a destination (e.g. Strobe's Osc pitch, PWM, Filter) you can...

Thanks for the reply, I'll ignore those sliders for now. The 4-layer overview was a nice idea but it adds a lot of clutter -- so, for the record, I wouldn't mind if the sliders were removed.

What are those little black sliders in the Fusor quad fx?

The manual doesn't seem to mention them -- and they don't appear in the manual's screen captures, either. Were they a last-minute addition? What do they do? I don't notice any effect when I wiggle the sliders next to obvious parameters such as filter cutoff. http://sites.google.com/site/pnauert/quad...

For better or worse, I can't reproduce the results I was seeing yesterday, so while I was trying to be careful I suspect it may have been a case of user error. Please disregard for now, and I'll revive this topic if the issue returns...

Sure, for example put Animator engine 1 in Mod Sequencer mode and then assign Step1 to Osc2 scale.

(Basics: all of this in Fusor, of course, and the Animator requires the host transport to be running.)
