I did have this selected but neglected to mention it in my reply as it was, I believe, turned on my default. Thanks for the suggestions. I created a new MIDI track but the only options available in the Inspector were the various MIDI inputs and not BFD2 - MIDI Out. I could change the Outputs to Not Connected but couldn't create the MIDI track. I haven't imported audio yet but it sounds like a performance t...

I think its the midi notes so that I can quantize them later. I assume that if I record the audio (and I'm not sure how to do that either) then it cant be changed later?
Does this makes sense?
