Output routing not saving in Live

Hi

Using live 8. when I do routing to the sub-outputs they are not being saved by the Live set or even if I save the .GRU file, so when I reopen the set I have to go select the outputs again, I know there has got to be a better way :) Please help. Thanks!

scenes continue to loop when midi released

Hello, when I am triggering scenes from my host or midi keyboard the scenes continue to loop until a new scene is selected. Is there a way to make the scenes stop playback once they have played their respected length? I first thought maybe this was due to the pattern mode but I tried all the differe...

In this case you have to have a midi track for each engine correct? Depends on your host and your preference. I like to put each engine on its dedicated track. Thats one of the reasons scenes seem attractive to me, to avoid having so many tracks, I'm already running 1, midi and 4 audio tracks, but ...

ok, now I have located the "sequencer retardation" option in the Audio options. Are there any details on the suggested use of this option? 8 ticks seems to be working for me with the VST. Is this more or less than is advisable?

Doubled notes when changing scenes

anyone else having doubled notes when switching between scenes? In the manual there is option for enhanced midi timing for some sequencers such as LIVE which I am using, but it seems in the most recent version of GURU that option is no longer there.. The problem seems far more prevalent in the AU co...

I see. Why not use only one track on midi channel 11 and just record or pencil in your scene triggers. It´s not more complicated than dragging I suppose. The beauty of dragging patterns is, that you can edit, rearrange, and fiddle with them independently. I rarely use scenes anymore. All arranging ...

Huh? This is easy - all my scenes are triggered from the 'main' guru midi track. No need to drag - they're already there. In Sonar, until recently (ahem, ahem), the scenes slots were even automatically labelled in whatever slots/notes on the piano roll view (eg., "scene 1", "scene 2&...

I think it would be a mess. Imagine that you would have to create tracks for each engine used, would you always create 8, or only the used ones? I´d imagine it would be only possible to do this, if you used multi-track *.mid like GM. It´s crucial to have all engines patterns as seperate regions. Ev...

I think it´s a rather useful feature to bypass the internal mixer, if using sub-outs as engine-outs. You only want the engines on different outs, if you´re using some kind of mixer (be it a DAW, an external hardware mixer, or your interfaces internal mixer) anyway. Can you enlighten me, in which us...

Mixer bypassed w/sub-outputs= bummer. But work around around inside

So I was pretty bummed when I realized that to engine mixer is bypassed when I use the sub-outputs... surely there must be a good reason for this... and I'm really curious to hear it  But what I have have to be a suitable work around for now is to, ALT>SHIFT>CLICK on the gain parameter...
