Why? Because it's broken!

Geist2 has been plagued with problems in automation and hardware parameter control since the beginning and FX are well aware of this yet seem incapable of fixing it, despite their promises.

Sums up Geist 2 perfectly (in it's current state).

I now hold any of these FX 'promises' with about as much regard as I hold the chinese spam that's takeover this forum.

Also, I would say F U Roli. I think FX has always meant well, but they are very inconsistent in updates. I disagree. FX released Geist 2 knowing very well that it was not ready. They did this to make some quick money before the sale to Roli went public, and they will have known that Roli would be p...

...and nobody knows for sure how long it even lasted.

In my case usually about 30mins - when really lucky I might have got an hour before it catastrophically crashed usually locking the machine up completely.

Sorry to say, but you've been sold a lemon that will likely never be fixed.

FX rushed out Geist 2 to make some quick bucks before being selling up to Roli knowing perfectly well that it wasn't ready. Unfortunately there is very little the mugs like you and me who bought it can do.

I'll tell you what Equator equates to - a non-buy, not never, ever, ever. I feel sorry for those who get mugged by this.

Time to accept it - Geist 2 is a dead duck.

As are all other current (and future if there are ever any) FXpansion and Roli products as far as I'm concerned.
