It's best to create a folder called BFD (or FXpansion if you prefer) and then create a folder inside there for each library you install, so you would have a folder called BFD3 Core Library in there, plus another folder called Percussion, and that is where you should install the percussion library co...
It is common for "anti virus" software to find things that are not there, as it makes the anti-virus software seem justified, and you generally then have to pay to update the software, or what ever other path they will take to ensure you end up paying them money. Nearly all "free tria...
Your solution is in the MIDI preferences, have your actually tried what gaheba suggested? in BFD 3 TOOLS menu select - Show Preferences select the MIDI icon top left option "Octave Numbering Scheme", you can select normal, -1 or -2 So I assume from your original post, that this needs to be...
// There is another variation of problem, where a library will simply disappear from the BFD3 browser, and then I go through the above. ///! Just a small answer amongst your issues, but if BFD is having problems reading the authorisations on your system, then they will not show up in the browser, s...
The order that the Drums browser displays things, is definitely confusing, because it sorts by manufacturer, which is not very useful, when a lot of drums don't have a manufacturer assigned to them and the percussion is particularly random in this area. Maybe it would be best to sort alphabetically ...
I don't need any more expansion packs, I've already got too many, the only thing I could possibly need would be some unusual exotic cymbals. Oh no..... what's this Sabian Digital Vault expansion pack? full of unusual exotic cymbals ? Oh well, there goes another 12GB of hard drive space then........
Here is a feature request that should be quite easy to implement, I would want the minimum Delay time in the DELAY effect to be shorter, perhaps down to 10mS. I find the existing 31mS shortest delay to be too long. If changing this feature causes incompatibility with existing Preset data files, then...
Will we ever be able to move the ambient channels within their cage again or are they now fixed for ever? I'm sure one of you fx people said we'd be able to move them again? Steve I assume what you mean is that as in BFD2 you could move the Snare Bottom away from the Snare Top, or the Ambient 3 awa...
Logic music be presenting a window size too small for BFD, why can't you make the window bigger to allow BFD to fit in if all AU plug ins are resizeable? obviously the answer to that is that it still doesn't do it right, so therefore, this must be an issue with Logic and not BFD. The size (inches) o...
Running BFD as a plug in, means it can only run within the window size that the host presents to it, but I don't use Logic, so perhaps someone else will need to help here, as I don't know if you can resize the windows in Logic.
I assume it's all OK if you run BFD as a standalone ?
it must be the window size that Logic is presenting you with, if that window is not sizeable, then you'll need to reduce the size of BFD with the horizontal width controls (next to the HELP menu heading)
