Thanks Drew, For anyone else that needs a workaround (at least in Live) you can use clip automation too. If you map several parameters to a device knob, you can control the min/max amounts, so it's not much different than a sawtooth LFO. http://s12.postimage.org/5ve4qxei3/maul_live_conf.jpg From her...

Can one of the FX fellas comment on whether you think I did something wrong, was expecting something I shouldn't, or if you think this is a bug in the software?

Thanks!

EDIT:

I should have added:
Win7 64bit, running in Live 8.3.4 (32bit)

Question about LFO1 8 bar Sync Mode not really syncing [BR:0009305]

Hi guys, Going through the presets and tweaking knobs and whatnot in Maul -- it makes things sound so juicy! I really love the sound of changing the cutoff on the various bands. I came across a situation where the sync wasn't quite syncing how I expected it to though. I have LFO set to an 8 bar down...

Update Etch to use Maul's midi control implementation for Live workaround?

Hello, In the Maul subforum, Drew posted a note about a workaround developed to accomodate the Live 8's lamesauce midi problem: Ableton Live rechannelizes all of its midi to channel 1. Furthermore, it does not expose multiple midi channels for plugins - you get midi channel 1 and that is it. To the ...

Thank you for considering this workaround! Bummer Live is like that.

We need to do promos like this every now and again to attract new users. New users benefit everyone and fund new development, new updates and features. Thank you for the response, Mayur. I definitely understand this being necessary to growing business. It just stings a little with it being such a b...

This is not completely the case. It works to route MIDI on channel 1, but not channel 2 or 3 (3 being where the filter freq. notes are). This is the part that people wish would work -- routing midi to Etch for performing frequency shifts.

Can I write Fusor's MIDI Out in Live?

Hello, I have a pretty sweet sound going through Fusor right now, and there is a lot of arpegiation powered by the Animator. The sound is lacking some lower end though, and I wanted to take this pattern and simplify it a little, to back it up with a sin wave elsewhere. Is it possible in any way to w...

I really agree with the sentiment described in this thread. It's happened twice for me with FXpansion products now, granted, I should have known better with the first instance. I bought DCAM about a month before the Black Friday sales started last year. I loved it so much though, that the sting of w...

lol @ I know this is capable of producing it however my electro skills are at a tele tubby level. I hear ya mate. I'm great at making a lot of crazy sounds, but it's rarely something I'd use in a track :) Anyway, I too have had the desire for seeing more people work with DCAM. The QuickTips vids FXP...
