i'm sorry for the videos deletion, you did a so nice job, expacially the second one...
anyway, seems "pad selection follows MIDI notes" is the correct answear... thanks a lot for replying to a so stupid question :)
what did you use before bitwig?

i don't think that depends on tfp programming... but i noticed that if i clic on the geist pad, the respective row of the sequencer becomes highlighted, that is a light yellow row.

This does not happen when sending midi notes on channel 16 through tfp, am i right?

cutoff sounds issue happened to me too, but only when i export "quickly", does not happen if i export in 1x speed

edit:
i configured tfp sending midi notes through channel 16 and it's ok.
when i click with mouse the corresponding row on the sequencer is highlighted, but it does not happens with tfp pads... do you think is it possible?

yes you can assign a different midi channel to every single button on the FTP, and imho this makes it proper to geist, but i have not made enough experiments yet :)

just bought the trigger finger pro. the 4x4 pad is not enough, i think a good controller for geist must be able to switch midi channel easilly, the trigger finger does, some mpd too i think, i was torn between mpd32 and trigger finger pro, the second won at the end!

i often use a little randomisation on pan and pitch, and few repeats here and there ;)
