Steve, Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have looked in the core audio files. Not there. I have also deleted the BFD2 authorization along with the additional file check box that removes the rest of the installed content. Not sure what it really removes but I check it anyway. I still have the preferences...

New BFD3 users without BFD2

Hello, First, I dont want to beat a dead horse with my question or get tech support involved since I have already been down that road. I was offered assistance and was pleased with the professional help I did receive. Unfortunately my issue is not yet resolved and some of the problems Im having have...

I don't mean to butt in here since drew is the expert, but the lag you're experiencing may be due to the UI. I find that when I run BFD3 on my i5 laptop the UI can lag sometimes when a lot of stuff is going on (groove playing and whatnot). Try disabling the hit animations, that worked for me. The a...

Here is what I have noticed with the expansion pack. The Yamaha Oak Custom pack asked for an application folder to install content for BFD2. Then it asks for the data folder path for the audio. This is what is complicating the authorization process. It thinks there is BFD2 already installed. I insta...

Regarding the expansion packs; don't install them into the Core Library folder. Install them to their own folder on your drive, and then add it as a contents location path. Re-install them, making sure to delete the non-BFD3 content from the BFD3 Core Library folder. Let me know if that helps. Then...

Frustration...

I went ahead and picked up BFD3 last week along with two Expansion packs after hearing for a long time good things about this product. I'm familiar with Standalone and VST instruments and own Superior Drummer 2.0 along with several SDX packs. I typically use Cubase Artist 7 and Propellerhead Reason ...

BFD3 Yamaha Oak Custom Expansion Issue

I just purchased the Yamaha Oak Custom Expansion to use with BFD3. After installing the multiple files my license manager is asking to authorize BFD2. It did authorize the Expansion pack but is also wanting authorization for BFD2. I didn't have any issue installing the Dunnett TI Expansion nor did i...

BFD3 Metronome Issues

I've noticed that when going into preferences the other day to change my metronome click sound that the drop down was empty. It will not allow me to select the metronome sound. So because of this the metronome does not work. I uninstalled BFD3 and reinstalled and everything was there again. This mor...

Alright guys, I feel like a total idiot. I didn't even realize my laptop had a eSATA/USB combo port! Definitely going to return the hard drive I just got and get one with eSATA. Super excited about this. Do you think I will see notable increase in data speeds? So the question is what should I get? L...

Thanks to the both of you. I'm up and running and I timed my load speeds and I'm receiving much faster results with the external drive. I hadn't thought about having an additional designated drive for recording. This makes great sense. I actually have a laptop so I went with the lacie p9230 usb 3.0 ...

Moving BFD3 Core Library to external HD

Hello, I just received my new LaCie desktop hard drive and want to move my core library and the one xpansion pak (Dunnett TI) I have. Which files should I move? Currently my Fxpansion folder and Bfd Core Library folder is under my documents and the Dunnett TI installed to program files(86). This was...
