Similar problem Cubase 7.5.10 64bit will not scan the BFD3.dll plugin at load but freezes and adds BFD3 it to its plugin blacklist. BFD3.dll plugin loads in Cubase 7.0 64bit OK. Tried running Cubase 7.5.10 (64bit) as admin but still no joy it will not pass the plugin. As the plugin won't load I can'...
It's not the options menu you want. It's the menus behind the symbol with the big tick in the box next to the BFD2 logo. Click on this and you'll see various In the Data Path box you should see the existing paths which BFD is using to find the drums. The + and - symbols on the left of this box lets ...
When installing BFD Percussion expansion the manual states 3. Select your BFD folder: this is the folder which contains the Data folder in which the sample data resides. Make sure you select the BFD folder, and not BFD/Data or any other folder. If you do not select the correct folder, the new sounds...
My experience of the update is variable. However that said it's not been too disruptive. I downloaded both the licence manager v 2.0.13.0 and the BFD3 latest installer v 3.0.28 and used these. The content data file download was the clearly the longest part of the job and for me it downloaded without...
Just had another thought about this? I had copied the content directory to a new location on the internal disc. Then deleted old path and rescanned new. The original content was on an external time capsule drive which was only being accessed over wi-fi. This being the case it's not always accessible...
It would appear that the directory where your content is installed is not being correctly identified.
I'd try going to your preferences page in BFD2 deleted existing content paths then re add these and rescan the content.
This may solve your problem.
Hope this assists.
Hi Steve This is sent from iPad so can't post an screenshot. The unnamed col on the product screen is the first one in your image with the ticks in it. Against my BFD2 entry it has a black triangle with an exclamation mark in it. Clearly some kind of warning indicator but without a manual only the p...
I raised the post below in the BFD2 forum but haven't had any replies yet. As this is a licence manager observation I'm raising it here in the BFD3 forum as well so see if anyone here can provide any information. Ive downloaded and installed the latest version of Licence Manager v2.0.13.0 on my iMac...
Hi double.. Just tried a test with bfd3 content loaded to a usb3 pen drive (Sandisk extreme 64gb) content about 58gb. This ran fine with bfd3 program running on the internal hd on an iMac. If your machine has usb 3 ports you should be able to connect an external drive to hold all your content. Haven...
Any users out there running BFD3 from a single SSD drive.? Could you comment on how it runs. There have been many comments on this forum about the need to run BFD using 3 separate physical disks 1: running the program/standalone or in DAW 2: recording 3: content drive to stream the samples Most of t...
As I only have the internal drive I've just tried an experiment with a Usb 3 memory stick. I have a Sandisk extreme 64gb mem stick so I loaded all the BFD 3 content onto this via a straight copy from the installed data on the internal drive. I then used the preference options to remove all existing ...
Thanks for response Steve. Can't find any info on the licence manager operation or errors. So may have to raise a support question on this. I have loaded to three machine. So seems to tie in with your info.
How many different machines can you install BFD3 to at one time but not use concurrently. I have 4 machines Win7 32bit Desktop, Win7 64bit Desktop and iMac 5 64bit and a 64bit Win7 laptop. 1: Can I install to all without running out of authorisations? 2: Is there anywhere I can check total authorisa...
Ive downloaded and installed the latest version of Licence Manager v2.0.13.0 on my iMac. Im running version 2.3.1.6 of BFD2 fully patched on my iMac i5. I copied the BFD2 audio library on my iMac to a new location. (Did not delete the content from the old location (external apple time machine module...
