Re: BFD3 v3.3.1.31 Public Beta

Presets aren't working right away in Stand Alone on a Mac. You click on them and nothing loads. You can see the kit pieces but no sound. Give it about 5 minutes and then they start load. Just confirmed it by quitting BFD3 and reopening it. Presets won't load. Let me clarify, the Kits don't load but ...

Jord,

I checked the 2 locations you mention but when I look at all the presets they are greyed out. Do you have a name of a couple of the eco presets I could do a search on and see if I can find them that way? Do I have to rescan the data base or something else I might be missing?

Thanks,
Bob

Can someone help me locate these presets. I'm using a Mac and I'm not sure where to navigate to find these presets. I ran the installer. Any help would be great.

I've found the preset. For some reason it's not in alphabetical order like the other presets. It shows up at the beginning of the EJB presets. It might have something to do with when I opened the preset it shows as All American Rock instead of Modern Rock as in the preset menu. Anyway thanks for the...

I've tried to add this preset but it's not showing up in BFD2's presets. It's been a long time since I've added a preset. I'm on a Mac and I put the preset in the documents/FxExpansion/BFD2/presets folder with all the other presets. I know I have to rescan something. I've rescanned the data paths bu...

Thanks for the presets Jord. The Kiss Revenge was great. Makes me realize that BFD2 is capable of so much and that I'm only scratching the surface. So many possibilities and so little time. Do you know if there is a way to organize presets other than with the star ratings. It would be great to be ab...

Ash,

Less quantization and more groove. I can program all of Bonham's grooves already but they are stiff. What will make these packs worthwhile is if they aren't stiff and can really swing like a real drummer and not a computer.

At a minimum I would think 50 grooves and 50 fills. I guess it depends on are they gonna be variations of the same groove or different grooves. I would prefer less grooves that are programed good with dynamics than more grooves. I've got tons of grooves already but many just don't swing like a real ...

I have to say it sounds like "Copeland". Not the kind of groove I'm seeking right now but not a bad one either. If its reasonable enough I'll buy them just so I can have more grooves. You never know what groove is gonna fit a song. Are you gonna put them together as palettes?

Great Idea

I'd love to see some straight ahead rock from classic rock drummers. I've got tons of grooves already but none of the simple straight rock grooves really groove. They sound stiff or over quantized. You'd think they'd be the easiest to program but I haven't heard many good ones. How about a glam pack...
