Hello,

I just helped another user with a similar problem. We were able to solve the missing metronome by clicking the "Rescan All Content Paths" button in the Tools > Set up content locations menu. Please try this.

Best,

rimshot1971, Can you rescan all paths from the content panel and see if that makes a difference. In the Tools > Set up content locations menu, Click the "Rescan All Content Paths" button to perform this. Also be sure to have the latest version of BFD3 installed before you proceed. If that ...

joshx202 ... can you please send me an update along these system specs to me directly at ryan@fxpansion.com? I can start an investigation for you. As long as you are using a fast, dedicated hard drive for your BFD2 data and a dedicated hard drive for your OS/programs, you should not experience such ...

Can you please revert to BFD1.5.47 and test? This is a LOGIC 8 optimized version that may work better on your system.

Any luck?

You should try enabling and use automation in Sonar, which will allow you to program the parameters in Guru so that your knob tuning results will be remembered. Do you get the same performance with Guru 1.5.12 and Guru 1.6.12? Does this help?

Which version of Guru are you running? Have you tried both 1.5.12 and 1.6.12?

What pattern mode are you using? Are you dragging the pattern keys from Guru and dropping into Logic? Are you using a stereo instrument track in Logic?

First, be sure that you have updated to BFD2.1.0.47 and the latest update for your OS. BFD2 is officially and best supportorted on the latest Mac and Windows 32 bit systems. You should have a fast dedicated audio hard drive for your BFD2 data library/folder. It is recommend to use a 72000RPM for fas...

I think that one of your main concerns is crosstalk/double triggering of the kit and BFD2. I would look for a solution that has an independent mounting system for the pads and cymbals or very solid rack. There are many good kits out there that can withstand the beating of a "real drum feel"...

Try drag/dropping the midi groove file into your stereo instrument track in the Pro Tools timeline ... I recommend composing, arranging, and editing via midi data in the instrument track that then triggers the BFD stereo instrument sounds.

Does this help?

Sorry for response time. It is better to submit a ticket through our ticket system for better tracking and service. I dug up some info on old PT6.4 and BFD. It is suggested to use BFD1.0.x which can be found in the older past updates in your BFD Download page. You must use Rewire for multi outs also...

The easiest Pro Tools/BFD2 workflow method is to create a stereo instrument track in Pro Tools. Insert BFD2 stereo as a plug in. Load your kit that you like, and save the kit for recalling later. You can either compose your midi drum data in BFD2 Groove page > Drum Track or in the Pro Tools instrume...
