* Tail control is down via the "Damping" controls - you have independent control over direct and ambient damping. * Separate tuning of mic channels isn't possible as we run a highly optimized monolithlic "massively" multi-channel sound format to aid streaming + synthesis. What yo...
This thread is for questions arising from BFD3.1's support for NFUZD Electronic Drumkits. http://www.nfuzdaudio.com BFD 3.1 introduces the ability to export a mix-down of your BFD3 preset into the 'NFUZD' soundbank format, and then load it directly into the NFUZD module's memory. This allows you to ...
Sanity check the ambient send levels from the Kit Pieces are set to a high level, and the ambient mics themselves are at a high level. There are expansion packs out there that have larger room sounds - BFD1 (re-released as "Eldorado") had a very live room. A little bit of extra gain & ...
We've discussed this in the past; and the stumbling item is always that a proper score layout engine is a biiiig job, which host software has several decades on us, and a much wider customer base to amortize across. That said, it definitely remains a currently-back-burnered interest I'm sure we'll r...
Jord's right - you need to be saving entire presets, which saves the mixer channel names as well.
Kits are just a collection of kit pieces - no mixer settings such as channel names.
Hi Steve, are you just using the vanilla dearchiver (if dmg or ip, then OSX itself) Sounds like it might be a permissions issue we/DrumDrops may need to sort out. Burning to DVD is probably bypassing any new special file permission settings recently introduced. Can I get your exact version of OSX? I...
jamsie - thanks for the crash logs. investigating now... suspect you might have a corrupted sound file that we haven't caught until deep in synthesis. I'm going to send you a special build to see if (1) BFD3 stays up and logs the error, and (2) writes the name of the affected file so we can analyze ...
The 4096 buffer size was borked (crashing) for bfdlac in general in BFD3.0.x. 4096 buffers still worked with older wav data from all the expansion packs predating BFD3, which is presumably how it avoided detection. 4096 size buffers will work with both bfdlac and wav BFD data on any device that is q...
Thanks for donating the map - I've been meaning to look for someone with a DM-10 for a while to make & test a map. If you guys think this map is good to go, I'll add it to the BFD3 installer!
