Re: Can you identify this kit?

Hi, I did those 8BK demos although it was 10+ years ago so I simply can't remember which kit-pieces were used for each demo! Sorry about that. From listening to it (ah the nostalgia!), in that demo it's likely to be one of the 8BK Custom kicks, there's a lot of Remo Rototom action in there too, plus...

Sorry, the only workaround I can advise is to avoid using the Merge function with truncated parts - i.e. copy/move the truncated parts around instead of merging them first - it is still possible even though it might look messy :) Alternatively, until this is fixed in the Drum Track, you could try ar...

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks - we've actually been checking this out in the meantime and managed to reproduce it - it *should* be fixed in the next version. Apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime!

Hi - the function merges any neighbouring selected parts to a new part. Apologies this wasn't in the manual already - it was an oversight. It will be covered in the updated manual for the new version (3.1) which will be uploaded soon. Could you perhaps upload a preset of the Drum Track you're workin...

Re: BFD3 Manual

No - manuals are now provided online only. They can of course be downloaded but having them online means that the manual can be updated separately from software builds (there have already been revisions to the online manual). That's fine. But if you are going to take that approach then you really n...

It's linked from the product page and from the FAQs:

If anyone has any suggestions for somewhere more obvious to put this, please let me know.

Re: BFD3 Manual

Thanks for pointer Rail. Should the manual have been installed into the BFD3 help directory by the installer? What other files if any should be in the help directory.? This is a bit worrying as I need to discover what actually went wrong on install? Cheers David No - manuals are now provided online...

It's the Damping amount control - located in the Model page of the Drum Editor:

Thanks, I think you've made your point. I'll see if I can add this in a future version of the manual. We're more than willing to hear suggestions. It would, however, be nice if you could refrain from insulting the development team while doing so.

Hi Kaylen, It seems there was a bit of a problem with our US dispatch/logistics - they simply weren't set up to deal with this situation in time (the only way to do it was to open an existing box and send you a USB stick), and our support guys were not aware. Even though it is going to be quicker th...

I checked with our US team regarding this today - they informed me that the package was shipped on Friday. You should have received an email with tracking info on Friday night - if this is not the case, please PM me so I can pass on the tracking number to you.

I noticed that the Load key map option only appears in the file menu when the key map tab is active. Is this a normal behavior? Yes. KaiXXX - there are too many new articulations in BFD3 which is why the keymap was changed. The intention is that if you want to keep working in a 'standard drum' type...
