Get rid of the drum kit view interface, it's a waste of resources. Sounds harsh, but I'd be happier being able to do all my work in the mixer page than use the kit view if possible. I didn't buy the software for the kit view, I bought it for quality sounds and ease of use. The kit page along with gr...

As soon as my bank agrees I will grab Andy John's as it's probably more suited to what we are doing, but joe's kits would suit one or 2 of our tracks. It is really a case of trying to get a snare to fit the track but unfortunately it's trying to please the drummer as it seems sometimes no matter wha...

Thanks, I've already had a quick nose at the Andy Johns and Joe Barresi expansions, sooo tempting but i think i will give this a whirl for a little longer and see if I can beat a sound into submission...if all else fails to please the drummer, I will beat him too lmfao. On a more serious note lol, r...

Cheers Jord. The issue with the hihat was that it seemed to double trigger... we noticed that this was due to the front portion of the hihat trigger (trigger 1) with which the isolation between trigger 1 and 2 on the hihat is extremely hard to get so that it doesn't double trigger and if it does, to...

Just had a nose after seeing your suggestion ... originally there was no input, but now there is :D Looks like buying a new midi lead made a difference????? lol, surely not? to work at 44.1 and 88.2 but not at 48 or 96 because of a dodgy midi lead? I think there may have been something wrong, whatev...

In that case there is obviously something not right. As I am unable to use it at 48 and 96. It gets no midi response!

Mainly record at 48 as we don't wish to have to convert sample rates later when syncing with video. But cheers for the info. I was mainly curious as I was unable to get midi input on both 48 and 96 even though options are there.

BFD2 works at 44.1 and 88.1 only?

I've been attempting to get this program running with the TD9 kit today and noticed something odd... Having started a few new projects at 96khz sample rate, bfd would not respond. It also failed to respond at 48khz. 44.1 was fine, 88.1 worked but had some crackling. Soundcard is M-Audio Fast Track U...

I would be interested in hearing more on anything related to getting the TD9 mapped out properly with BFD2. I've had mixed results so far, similar velocity based issues as the OP. It's getting to the point of contemplating hiring a studio to track the drums as I cannot get a satisfactory set-up.

I suppose by Dynamics, I meant trigger response/sensitivity and accurate reproduction of what the drummer is playing. Capturing the dynamics of the performance via the td9x > midi to get as realistic a response in BFD2. I will give it another blast with the kit when he brings it up and see if we can...

Any Info on keymap for TD9X kits?

Hoping to get back to recording in the next few weeks and plan on giving BFD2 a good run through. Are there any solid keymaps for the TD9X out there? Drummer is obviously concerned that the dynamics of his playing will not come through so I don't want to have the lack of dynamics and playability lea...

PhilippWilhelm has made some very valid points there. We have, after all, paid for the product, so we should atleast be shipped some sort of means of backup incase your systems or, drum software gods forbid, they company folds. I have major issues with companies who don't trust the users and I know ...
