Hi jord, that were exactly my thoughts - however what about the presets? I started with BFD2 on my old MacBook and some presets are in stored in HD/Library/Application Support/FXPansion/BFD2, some in the users documents folder. And now I realized that presets for BFD2 aren't installed at all - teste...

Install everything from scratch - BFD1-Libraries to BFD3

Hi, I'm sure, this has been asked but the search gave me so many answers and none of them fitted. Right now I'm installing a complete new MacBook Pro with 1TB SSD. As my old MacBook ran for more than 3 years and went from OS X 10.7 to 10.10 I thought it would be better to start from scratch. I own m...

As for the message try right-clicking the installer and choose "open". In the next window choose "open" again and it will work fine. Maybe the problem with the License-Manager disappears. However I had this problem once with an expansion from esoundz, too. Do you have the latest ...

You let it look like BFD3 is a 500-piece-toolbox with 498 screws and 2 screwdrivers and that's not true. The point is that BFD is first and foremost a drumsampler - the best imho. The grooves are "nice to have" and gave me good starting points in the past. There are always good grooves fro...

I can confirm this using "Sixties Downbeat Kit" by Sonic Reallity or the new "Gretsch Round Badge Kit" by Dromdrops - both contain direct channels with no discrete signal, especially the Round Badge which only contains room microphones.

Hi, never worked with this classes before but I can confirm this behaviour with BFD 3.0.3.30 on Mac. Kick, Snare, HiHat and Percussion - actually every class that contains something of Ken Scott's Kits.

Ohh, again? Just bought Ken Scott's 60's kit two weeks ago during the christmas "sale". Now it's even 10 dollars off that price.
Actually I don't really mind because the expansions are well worth it. However you can't even trust a sale these days and that's frightening and disapointing ...

Hi again, Allen from eSoundz just got back to me asking if there are some news. However I just after starting BFD2 again - it now recognized the expansion and I could even authorize it. It's now up and running. I honestly don't know what changed of if I even did something different. However now it w...

Hi,
nearly a week since I purchased the expansion and still no solution. Submitted a ticket at esoundz - they suggested to submit a ticket here which I did beside this thread. If You need more information, data, screenshots ... please let me know. I feel a bit left alone here ...

Hi mhschmieder, thanks for your reply - the presets are already in the correct folder alongside all other presets. As the Alan Parson kit came ready for BFD3 I think I don't have to download any presets. Yesterday I tried a different way - I installed the BFD2/3-Version (with uncompressed wav-files)...

After going back to 3.0.2.8 because of crashing with older presets I tried the 3.0.3.17 today and ran into a problem I had before with 3.0.3.10 (I think): Every BFD3-Kit works fine - I can double-click them in the kit-browser and they load instantly. However every other kit from older libraries like...
