Hi Drew,

thanks for this good reply. Download is running 8).
As you did a great job with the re-worked 8bit-kits for bfd2 I'm curious to hear the "new" percussion.

Cheers

Percussion DL available to "old" costumers?

Hi, just got your newsletter saying that Percussion is now available as a downloadable product. As I bought the boxed version ages ago I'd like to know if there will be a new version for the "old" customers as you provided for the 8bit-kit. If so it would be really great :). Cheers Jan

Strictly speaking *.bfd2kit files needs to be here: ..\My Documents\FXpansion\BFD2\Kits Hi again, I just found out, that the presets are also stored here: C:\Program Files (x86)\FXpansion\BFD2\System\Kits I renamed the folder in My Documents, trashed&rebuild the db and imported the BFD1-Presets...

Strictly speaking *.bfd2kit files needs to be here: ..\My Documents\FXpansion\BFD2\Kits and not anywhere else, or any subfolder therein. If you've been moving them around they might fail. Thats weired becaus all the other presets show up - 8bkit, jex, sleishman... They are all in ..\My Documents\FX...

Hi, it's great to see BFD2 in x64. The Update went really well and it seems very solid to me (after an hour just playing around). However - since the update I am missing some Kit-Presets. They show up in my documents-folder but not in BFD2 (doesn't matter if x64 or x86). If I drag&drop them to B...

Hi,

that would be a real killerfeature imho - in times of bfd1 there were impulseresponses from ElDorado. I never used them because of a missing ir-reverb but I liked the idea.

Hi,

the upgrade runs without bfd1 installed. However you can just install the samples from bfd1 and import/load them into bfd2, so you have the sounds of bfd1. The plugin is not needed.

Unfortunately the old kit will can remain cached, so you'll have to do a Trash+Rebuild databases to refresh BFD2.

thx, that worked :) .

Hi, just downloaded the new version and installed it over the existing one. When I try to open the kit preset burning brushes all slots stay empty. The bfd preset (inkl. fx and groove) works fine. After the reinstall bfd rescanned all folders, so it should be aware of the new version, right? What ca...

Hi, first one :D . Just downloading the expansion but i have one question. As an owner of the jazz & funk expansion, do i need the first installer (Sabian cymbals)? Is there anything new in this package? Or is it enough to download only the second part? Same with the snare - I own both signature...

but it's wonderful to know that our users have played a part in the future of BFD. Nice move - does that mean, we can't complain about future releases/features cause we are a part of the development? Seriously - I find myself pretty well in the results and the survey helped me to look at my ...

Yeah, that would be a great offer (especially for long-time-users or those who own one or more expansions  ). I'd often like to use BFD on my notebook - but it's too heavy.
