That's the Windows Vista and 7 path. Sorry I just realized that you're on XP still. It'll be somewhere here if I remember rightly:

%root%\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\FXpansion\BFD2

%root%\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\FXpansion\BFD2

You may need to adjust your "Folder and Search Options" in order to see that path.

I would try altering the root paths to /BFD as I suspect BFD2 is not drilling its way down those paths as it should. Not sure why as it used to work, but in the name of pragmatism try this:

/Volumes/BFD/BFD2
/Volumes/BFD/BFD1
/Volumes/BFD/JNF
/Volumes/BFD/YS1
/Volumes/BFD/Exp

That's a known issue created by leftover files in your UAC virtualization paths: Right, looking for a couple of people with the key map problem to try a possible solution: Shutdown BFD2 and delete the following folder (substituting your Windows user name for 'username' below): C:\Users\ username \Ap...

Yes, Windows Media player doesn't seem to support Microsoft's own Broadcast-WAV standard. Mad but true.

If you're willing to put the time in, you can certainly build a 30min drumtrack that you can render to wav. I don't think we've ever tested it for that length of time, but as far as I can tell from my system tests there's no obvious reason for it b0rk.

You know, a WD Caviar Black HDD is very cost effective for what you need. Maybe worth upgrading that E: drive. I use several 1Tb ones at home and a year in haven't had a glitch yet. I know SSDs are eventually the way to go, but for most of they are an extravagance with the world's economies in the s...

Try deleting your BFD2 resources folder manually and reinstalling the beta.

/Library/Application Support/FXpansion/BFD2

I'm thinking your UI skin has gotten broken.

What version of BFD2 are you running? I suspect that swap file has become read only and can't be overwritten anymore. Can you delete it?

I hope you mean a macbook! Try ctrl+left click. Does that work? Also, on those new macbook pros the touchpad supports multitouch and also registers the right corner click differently to the left corner. Just check what you've got set-up there and what you're doing. I slip up that way all the time. -R.

Herc, Rob said it best with this quote..... That note truncation happens because BFD is not getting the data rate it needs from the source based on what you're playing and is killing off the oldest voices (played hits) as an emergency measure. Enlarging the stream buffers might help, but this also ...
