If you opt for "beta notifications" on the BFD2 product in your registrations, you'll get an e-mail when the next public release is out.

Between Steinberg and ourselves we figured out why that was happening. It's fixed in the internal builds AFAICT, so when we roll out the v2.3 Release Candidate that issue should go away.

For what it's worth, we sometimes get unlucky with the dependencies of an OS that the vendor chooses to let brake. No conspiracy here, just a simple gesture of good will. When things like this happen it frustrates us as much as it does you.

I'd like to add that you shouldn't have your BFD library on a HDD used for anything else at the same time. Some people record to the same drive and discover quickly that they starting running low on BFD "voices". That note truncation happens because BFD is not getting the data rate it need...

Hi there, I'm not sure what happening to you based on your description, so i'll list some things to try. - Where is your BFD2 library data being stored? It should be a dedicated drive that does not share it's data bus with anything else. - trying lowering the Max layers and/or increasing the stream ...

The only prerequisite to installing BFD 2.3.0.x is having run one of the combo updaters (that patches the meta data in your data path) once before, otherwise you can feasibly run latest application installer from nothing. If your data hasn't been patched yet, run the 2.2.0.48 combo update first. Onc...

If you use the DrumTrack and shorten a groove from the left, it'll play with the expected offset.

NOTE: This feature was only added in BFD v2.2. Prior versions always truncated from the right.

Hi here, The groove engine in BFD Eco is not programmable like it is in its big brother BFD2, but then there's nothing to stop you from programming your own grooves as MIDI sequences that are sent to BFD Eco. We normally envisage that you are running BFD Eco in a host to do that, so the standard app...

Hi,

Can't you just set the Start Menu to Auto-hide? Reengineering BFD Eco's GUI is hugely non-trivial.

Running as an administrator is also a requirement of BFD2 since Win7 loves to virtualize files and registries.

Hi, You want to route all your drums to separate outputs? It's been a while since I ran FL Studio, but I would investigate creating some AUX channels in your project and selecting BFD2's auxiliary audio outputs as their sources. This is how most hosts approach this use case. If not, then it may be t...

Hi,

The 10 piece standard kit is mapped fully by default, but if we were do the same for the 18 of 32 pieces kits we'd run out of midi notes.

There is a standard GM drum map deployed in BFD2 as well. If you can't see it I suggest that you reinstall BFD2.
