Can you clear your keymap and just map the hihat note?

Guys,

I've moved this to the eDrumming forum.

What does the MIDI event log in BFD2's keymap page say? If BFD2 is receiving two notes from the DM6 hi-hat, and one happens to be mapped in BFD2 to a snare slot, then you'll get this weird behavior.

VSTi's dont change behavior like that, they only ever respond to events from the host. I can't repro the problem here with a midi keyboard and mod wheel, so I'm not sure what to think right now.

Are you on a mac? If so MIDI monitor (http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/) is a great little free app for debugging MIDI streams.

Hi there, I'm wondering if this is a bug in Ableton Live. It's plausible that the CC data you are sending to BFD2 is being correctly piped to file as you record, while the artifact CC messages are being somehow added to the MIDI stream beyond this point. Upon play pack you could be bypassing that co...

From model to model the sensors exhibit different sensitivity characteristics, so yes you would have to adjust the curve each time and save the set-up as a different keymap. From unit to unit of the same model they tend to be fairly consistent, so you don't have too much to worry about there if you ...

Hi there, Strictly speaking you don't need any previous version of BFD2 installed before installing the latest one. Our software installers are 100% complete. ***BUT*** From BFD2.1 -> BFD2.2 we had to patch the BFD2 library's metadata, so the if you haven't run one of the v2.2 combo installers to up...

Hi Stephen, What you are describing is an issue with the 64-bit Windows builds that we've become aware of recently. BFD2 64-bit is *in beta*, so once the current laundry list of bugs has been dealt with we will put another build and see where we are then. Thanks for your beta-testing efforts! -Rob.

Rob, perhaps the request could be to do that with host automation? Yes, I know this is also already possible, but it requires having two buttons mapped in each preset for changing presets because once you switch presets the newly loaded automation map also needs change those buttons mapped. Perhaps...

How do make a feature request?

Read what I wrote in the last post.

You can't make a feature request for a feature that already exists.

The MIDI program change editor can be found here:
Keymap page -> Prog button

Make sure all your presets have the same Program Change list, or loading one will wipe out current list.

Sounds like you have corrupted metadata in your BFD2 library. Running one of the v2.2 combo updaters should fix that.

I found the audio units processor you were referring to.. under options, I ran it to rebuild all my au's It shows FXexpansion bfd2 , as installed and having no issues.. yet it does not show up on this list... I have enabled logic in 64 bit mode and it still does not show up.. so short of running a ...
