I ran into some really weird inconsistincies once that I had a hell of a time tracking down. Eventually I found that I had a MIDI controller plugged in that had funky mod controllers, and was sending control data to BFD. The issue went away when I unplugged it. I also once had an issue where there w...

I don't remember the history, but all my BFD1 grooves exist as bfd2pal's. Did these come with the BFD1-2 upgrade? If I remember correctly, I don't think BFD2/3 can read the BFD1's directly.

Re: Feature Request: Master Trim Knob

I'd like to see a master trim knob - not the master output gain, but a master trim. I still use those super hot BFD2/London kits a lot, and it would be nice to be able to trim all kit pieces down at the source instead of just at the output. Have you clicked on the 'Tweaks' button in the mixer and a...

Feature Request: Load Partial Kit

I'd like to be able to load a new kit on top an already loaded kit, without unloading the pieces that aren't used in the new kit. That way I could either reload a kit containing just cymbals or toms, or add a suite of percussion instruments (such as just tympani, chimes, or Latin percussion), while ...

Extra Character in Expansion Directory Name

Just an fyi, for people who may have difficulty loading some expansion packs.

I was recently reorganizing my library. I found that if you put a space on the end of the containing directory name, BFD3 sometimes will recognize the directory during the search, but not load the contents.

The License Manager doesn't need a fast Internet connection. If you have any connection at all, it'll only take a minute.

Couldn't wait! Got it. (was I the first?)

Totally awesome so far. Strobe has been my go-to on DCAM, so I'm glad you did the update there first. Seems like it should be a lot easier to work with..

Is it a mono or stereo Instrument track? It has to be stereo, or BFD3 won't be in the list.

You know you're an addict when ...

... you log into your FXpansion account and realize that there are at least two expansion packs that you've never installed.

Hi Kafka, in Logic i used swing templates in a similar way like you in Pro Tools. Like you I think it is more flexible to have it inside BFD because it becomes project independent. I checked the rudiments and it looks great. If you got time please tell us how you add own ones. XML Editing seems to ...
