Further update: it appears VirtualDJ is now being spoofed as a source of emails as well. If you are a VirtualDJ customer, but NOT an FXpansion customer (how are you on our forum... ah well, excuse cut n paste posting ;) ), we would be interested to hear from you to establish if there are a bunch of ...

I'm being completely frank and open, Spectralis, and reporting developments as we find them. There are all manner of methods for harvesting email addresses without actually breaking into our servers. Email is a notoriously insecure way to communicate. As I said just above your post, at the moment we...

In an ideal world, yes. Probably could have knocked one together in the time we just lost to the DubTurbo hacker, which would have been a far more enjoyable and productive procrastination from coding BFD than playing at cyber sherlock holmes...

* "A few years ago" was the last time we saw an unauthorized access to one of our servers (not an important one), and to the best of our knowledge at the time, nothing happened. We are of course revisiting that incident to check. * We have been gather information to pin down the date at wh...

We sent a "Please Explain... and quickly before we start turning the voltage up on the nipple clamps" email to DT (strangely, we have a form email for this...). DubTurbo are providing us with info on the "rogue affiliate", and apparently doing all they can to shut him down, and w...

Yes, we will be emailing out.... we're just trying to rule out our bulk-email sending service as a source! ;)

Thanks for you suggestions & patience...

Hi all, To the best of our current knowledge, only email addresses have been sniffed somehow - possibly during a newsletter mailout a few years back. Thus, your other personal details should be safe. In particular, and most importantly, your credit card details are as safe as a global bank like HSBC...

"Offline" button will probably help, at the bottom of the BFD2 screen. This tells BFD2 to take as much time rendering as it needs, which can help with slower disks.

There's no latency in BFD2, and no lead time of zeroes from BFD2's built-in export. Are you exporting from within Cubase - using Cubase's export, or BFD2's built-in export? BFD2's export will not know about any latency compensation Cubase may be performing behind BFD2's back to deal with other effec...

VST supports MIDI out, so you can use BFD's groove engine to drive another plugin, or record its MIDI output.

When you installed OSX Snow Leopard, did you customize the install in anyway - such as reducing the font set. We've seen this in the past when our installer is unable to find the fonts. You must have one of the following installed: "Arial", "Helvetica", "Monaco", "...

Yes, unfortunately - a rebuild would be required. We dropped VST2.3 to use VST2.4 so we could go 64bit with Eco.
