Guru hangs Logic 7

Postby neriniren » Thu Jan 01, 2009 7:22 pm

Apparently I didn't do something right when installing guru. The application will not launch stand-alone, and it hangs up Logic now when its scanning audio units. I just want to uninstall guru completely and start over. Where is the Audio Unit file that Logic is trying to initialize? Can I delete this? I've already deleted the application and several other files I found. Hope I didn't mess everything up!

Guru 1.5 (i think), OSX ver 10.5.6, updated Logic 7

Sorry if this solution was already posted. Couldn't find one.

Thanks and regards...

Hey Erin.

Go to your HD-library-audio-plugins

There you ave your AU and VSt plugin folders.
Go into the folders and just trash the component or vst you want rid of.

Restart Logic then Quit it.

Maybe do a repair in Disk Utility and then re-install Guru.

Hope that this helps.

By the way, you may need to authorise the AU or VST folder when you trash the plugin.
