Hey everybody.

Do guru sets always need to be saved in isolation? Will the host never be able to grab the settings of guru as a vsti?

This is one hell of a drum sequencer. I wish my brain was bigger.

your host should just save Guru and all the settings as part of the song document. At least it does in Logic and Bidule

Hmm...it seems that fruityloops studio doesn't like to save Gurus settings. I haven't tried it in Live with the new Guru. No problems in the old one.

I wonder if anyone can verify that FLstudio doesn't save Gurus state.

Are you running Guru 1.6.12? What system are you running on?

Yes Guru 1.6.12 within FL Studio 8.

It says "there was an error retrieving the settings from the VST plugin Guru. You are advised to restart".

It's an i7 920 PC with Vista home premium.

Ah, you probably need to disable UAC in Vista.

Then reinstall the 1.6.12 update just for good measure.

Way to go Rory_FX. When you get home there's going to be another storey on top of your house!

Thankyou. That's some intuition you've got there.
