I'm not sure now...looking at the poll and the meagre votes, it looks like the sounds are rubbish and/or people prefer modern, dance oriented sounds rather than authentic sounding vintage stuff.

Perhaps the demo is rubbish. That's what you get when you have to play in between nappy changing and looking over your shoulder to see if the 11 month rascal is still on the floor and not climbing up the keyboard stand.

Or perhaps I shouldn't have invited people to make Forest run !

Anyway, hopefully new demos will convert some of the cheese cracker lovers. :P

Remember this is primarily a support forum. People don't tend to come here to chat much, so you won't get a ton of traffic. If you're not already you should pimp this at the usual bigger forums.

Yeah, I appreciate that. :)

I think I'm bad at pimping, though.

This isn't a proper promo anyway. I'm just goofing around, is all.

actually just seeing this thread. I love the sounds.....and the poll was kind of 'esoteric' :-)

I need to complete the sound bank this week and then who knows, it might be out very, very soon.

Hi,

The sound bank is now almost completed. I just need to double check Cypher's Fusor presets ( this sound bank will be available for Cypher with the same presets residing in Fusor with effects).

It took me longer to do the Fusor presets than I expected/intended.

Price for your sound bank?

Postby mta-x » Wed Feb 10, 2010 11:36 pm

How much do you think you'll charge for the sound-bank? I think it sounds fantastic. I am getting some great sounds out of strobe and amber, but cypher is still a bit of a mystery for me and I bet I could learn quite a bit from your patches.

Hi ihop,

Well, the sound bank will be released by Fxpansion and so they will set the price ( according to the final amount of presets, as far as I remember).

And thank you for your words of support. That's appreciated greatly. :D

Here's another demo, more funky this time, which i did on my laptop, mixed on headphones so it may be off, but here it is anyway:

All sounds from Cypher except the drums.

And another one, kinda 1980's synth pop influenced:

:D

all sounds are dry, no effects.

Those are some really cool sounds. Is the bank Cypher only? Or are there some Strobe, Amber, and Fusor patches?[/list]

Thanks for the compliment, Funkybot. :-)

All sounds are made in Cypher. The 'funky' demo has one sound from Fusor ( the first one, which uses Fusor's Filter Mod and Delay on the basic Cypher preset). Basically, the sound bank will consist of Cypher sounds and the same sounds with effects in Fusor.

Choose Cypher if you have a clear idea what effects you want to add to the sound yourself, or choose the same preset in Fusor if you'd rather go with a few effects pre-set and ready to go with the option to tweak effect send levels and other parameters with Fusor's performance knobs.

These sounds are really amazing, way more impressive in the flesh even than the demos. They will be worth the wait believe me :)
