I've noticed that the only way that I can play Geist from a midi controller (keyboards - Motif 61 key, K2600 88 key, and an akai lpk25) using cubase 5 is to transpose the octave way down (4 clicks of the transpose down button).
Is this something that I can change or is Geist coded for use by drum pad controllers. I don't know if this is a standard protocol.
I looked at the preferences in Geist and didn't notice a discernible difference between (0, -1, and -2). I'm not entirely sure
if that even applies to this situation.
The odd thing is that in standalone, Geist seems to respond to what I would call middle C. There's no need to transpose 4 octaves down in standalone.
Yet while in Cubase 5, 4 octave down is required to play the first bottom pad.
