Tremor

Postby leggz » Sun Dec 11, 2011 11:34 pm

With the introduction of this bad boy, does this mean that Geist won't be getting a synth drum engine?

It does not mean that Geist will not be getting a drum synth.

It also does not mean that Geist will be getting a drum synth.

Heh, nice answer :)

But as Tremor is a separate product, with similarities to the Geist product, would it not be apparent to at least have some sort of integration possibilities between Tremor and Geist? I see 2 obvious situations: 1) in order to easy sample content from Tremor into Geist having a sort of integration of the sampler plugin within Tremor, to make the sampling proces easy(easier). And 2) to have Tremor sort of rewired into Geist patterns, to keep the pattern programming all in one place. That way users that have both products will be able to benefit - thus also making Tremor more desirable for Geist users. Just a few thoughts :)

Fusor in DCAM might be a possibility

a future DCAM2 product might include Fusor2 which could feature a complete multi-engine sequencer where you can load an instance of Tremor and one of Geist so they can be integrated in one box, so to speak. Might not happen but would fit within the current product structure.

Are we going to see at least a "coming soon"-video before the year ends? :D

Yes, a coming soon vid would be a good idea or some kind of announcement re: features - i'm on the verge of buying RP Punch.

Ok then, alternatively you certainly can make an FXpansion Christmas party video, where you show modulated drinks under Strobe lights, letting the Geist of Christmas in……if you like! (just kiddin´ )

I've demo'd Punch for the full 30 days and I really DON'T like the workflow or the Awful sequencer. It produces some OK sounds but Nah it's not for me. So for the moment I'll keep on Geisting and will add Tremor to my buy list once it's out. My other fave Drum synth uTonic has me bored now at 8 years of use.

FX Guy's is it coming any time soon (Week? Month? just a hint is all I ask ;0)

Will there be a discount for those who own Geist?
