BFD3 crashes in standalone

Postby dr4kan » Fri Oct 04, 2013 10:02 am

Hi,

on OSX 10.8.5, after loading BFD3, I go to BFD3 > Preferences > Open audio preferences and when I try to change the Input device field, BFD3 systematically crashes. This does not happen if I only change the Output device field.

Thanks.

Mine is doing the same thing. Just got it installed after waiting 48hrs for the core file to download via the license manager. Log attached. Will work in ProTools 11...just not standalone. Not pleased...

We have a 3.0.3 beta build which addresses the standalone crashes - we fixed some bugs in the x64 portaudio library. I'll PM you details.

This is why I buy fxpansion -this is support. That and the fact that this stuff sounds the best. :)

Thanks,

Rick

Just as an update -the new 3.0.3.7 updater fixed everything for me. I am now the proud owner of the world's greatest drum sample engine once again.

Thank you fxpansion and team for your incredibly swift and resolute support. Now -off to make music. :)

I've also had multiple crashes in standalone since downloading BFD3 upgrade. Hardly had a chance to open it in my daw. Latest version too from 11th April 2014. :?

Would appreciate it if someone could look at my crash log.

Thanks,

Graham
