I've looked around as this is a very obvious and I'm sure common question but can't seem to find the info. I'm a modest user of BFD2. The kits and sound are fine by me, so my primary question is in terms of features / functionality.
What does BFD3 do for me that BFD2 doesn't?
I'm sure there's a page explaining this somewhere, if you could point me to it I'd be most grateful.

I agree, it would be cumbersome for users to list out everything that's new. Usually, when a software company issues a new release, there's a marketing page dedicated to "What's new for version xyz." That's what I was fishing for since I can't find it anywhere. I'm sure it must be out there somewhere and I'm just overlooking it.
As has been said, there are just a ton of changes. The thing is that you can work with BFD3 almost exactly as you worked with BFD2, if you want, so you have to look around to see how features were added. I think Groove editing is the biggest improvement.
