Please be aware that Windows 10 or OSX 10.11 are now the minimum operating system versions required for this update (v22.214.171.124). This will also be the case for future BFD3 updates - please continue to use v126.96.36.199 if you wish to run BFD3 on an older operating system, and reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues, which we'll be happy to investigate.
I suspect that this update is not compatible with Windows 7. On two different windows machines, I got an error message that a particular exe file could not be found. I had to revert to the prior version.
horrific past few hours as install crashed then troubleshooting trying to install repair vc_redis files, broke my ableton- nice. real nice. why not place a warning guys at install or better yet a simple macro to determine compatibility before the nightmare begins ? you dropped the ball for this paying customer
Well disappointment for me. Anybody got this version up and running on 8.1? I am not keen on upgrading to windows 10 after the issue I had over-installing my laptop. Not sure I want to spend a lot of time with a clean install.
Installed v188.8.131.52 on to Win 10 system and crashed every time I tried playing a scene in Ableton 10. I had to go back to v184.108.40.206. I use the BFD VST in 4 different slots. I am not sure if that is part of the problem. When I made a test in one slot it did 'seem' to work.
Me too...BFD3 has been disabled because licence file is corrupt. Please run license manager.... I tried de authorizing and re installing the v220.127.116.11..then re authorizing.. but to no avail...im stuck...Helpppppp !!!
Got "license corrupt" error message also. Tech support suggested de-authorizing, restarting license manager - nah! doesn't work. Reverting back to Ver 3.2.xxx works fine but why settle if there are improvements available.
Awaiting new response from tech support. Anyone able to resolve this yet on their own?
