BR: layer filters

Postby schmidi » Tue Nov 29, 2016 3:00 pm

I think I got a big one here.

- Load any preset WITH pattern data
- select a pad with notes in the pattern lane.
- alter this pad's individual/layer filter in an extreme enough way that it should sound different ( crank the res/alter cutoff)

- hit play
You will NOT hear any change in the sound from the original loaded pattern!

- manually click the altered pad and you will hear the changes.

-basically layer filter edits are broken

It appears that the drive parameter works, as does selecting new filter types, but there NO change. From altering res and cutoff.

Update: this only happens worth certain presets?

From the Loopmasters For Geist factory pack, preset "135 BPM Drums" exhibits this behavior.

However, "85 BPM Drums" in the same pack does not...

I have the same problem, but it also occurs when loading a kit without pattern data. I've only found one kit so far where filter graphs work, the Norf kit from Geist 1. Filter graphs also don't work when I load my own samples.

I saw your post last night. I think there is a large bug in the filter cutoff and res functions. We should both submit this to tech support to get their attention on it!

Filter automation is totally broken. Bug report submitted to support.

I tried replicating this but it seems to work for me.
