Tom Resonance and spill

Postby sonico73 » Tue Dec 08, 2015 4:51 am

Hello,

After playing with BFD3 for a few days, I decided to give tom resonance and spill modeling a try just to discover that is not working in my system.
Not sure if I' am doing something wrong but I have tom resonance enabled in all drums and nothing. (no resonance and no spill modeling in tom mics).

I think is worth mentioning that even though I have all the preferences in the simulation part to default to 12db, they default to 0db every time I open BFD.

This happens in both standalone and plugin versions.

Thanks in advance for your help

Ok, rolled back to version 3.1.0.20 from 3.1.2.0 beta and the tom resonance and spill simulation is working again.
Is anybody else experiencing this??

We'll try to recreate your issue and log a bug accordingly.

Which kit were you using?

Thanks again!!

Yup, looks like there's an issue. I managed to reproduce it on my systems with the latest public beta.

I logged a bug on your behalf. Hopefully, Drew and crew can get this assigned quickly and get a new public beta out soon after.

Hopefully, the silence from the rest of the FXPansion team is an indicator that this build is heavily in test and should reach our hot little hands soon enough. :D

Great news!!
I' am going to install it.
I haven't seen the release notes but hopefully it fixes my issue with the extended channels showing when loading drum pieces, even though the preference for the extended channels is unchecked.

Thanks fxpansion!!

Has this issue been resolved? I'm using the Mard Gras kit & can't get tom resonance working at all. I just installed V. 3.1.3.5, and still nothing.

It's working here in 3.1.3.5

Check your Resonance and Spill trims on the kit pieces that you want the Toms to resonate to.

The Tom resonance and spill is working as it should!!

Sadly for me, 3.1.3.5 is crashing a lot!!

Yours seems more like an isolated case. 3.1.3.5 has been rock solid over here.
