When sending MIDI data to GURU (vst) from a nanoKONTROL, on channels other than 1:
Live correctly shows the channel it is receiving data on (e.g. 2), but GURU responds as if the data were being sent on channel 1 - i.e. only Engine 1 responds. I've tried all different channels and the problem is the same.
I'm afraid no matter what you do, LIVE will merge all midi input streams into a signal stream on channel #1 into the instrument track. This is why you can't trigger the other engines when hosting in LIVE - GURU will only receive data from LIVE on channel #1.
You might want to look around for some MIDI loop-back tool that will help you get around this limitation.
